Walk the High Line

Exept a few (or maybe a few more) rainy days we had an amazing sunny "August - Weather" the last couple of weeks in NYC. So there was no question, I had to spend time outside in the city.
And because New York City is a great "walking City" I didn´t feel too bad that my work out was left behind a little bit.
Anyway, one option is to walk down the High Line Park along the Lower Westside of Manhattan, which is a former NYC Railroad track. The park runs, among others, through the neighborhood Chelsea and ends in the Meatpacking District. While walking down the High Line you can gaze at all different architectures, art objects, graffitis, musicians ... and of course people ;) .

Welcome to Atlantic City!

So this is Atlantic City, a City on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, famous for gambling and having fun.
I spend one night in a hotel right on the Boadwalk, with my boyfriend who came to the U.S. to visit me.
We didn´t gamble though but just for the reason that we spend all out money for pizza, concerts and travelling to Philladelphia a few days before (Post will follow).
Walking down the Boardwalk of AC actually reminded me a lot of Coney Island especially because of the beach and the amusement park located right next to it.

Enjoy like we did!

Artists and Fleas in Williamsburg - Part 1

My friend Nanna and I finally made it to the Williamsburg Fleamarket, which is located in Williamsburg (Brooklyn) right on the riverside of the eastriver.
Williamsburg is a very artistic neighborhood with a lot of charming Restaurants and Boutiques.
On our way back to the subway we found an indoor Flea and Art Market (called Artists & Fleas), which is definitely worth visiting as well.
