If I had a boat

I know, I know, I know... after my last post you probably expect me under palm trees, in the sun, on a sandy beach in Miami. But right now I am still home and I just can´t stop to look through all the pictures I took lately. So here comes one more post -this time for real-  before I´ll say "I am going to Miami".
With those images I tried to capture the charming atmosphere of rowing a boat on "The Lake" in Central Park

PS: Enjoy the beautiful song (posted below) , which gave my post it´s name while you´re looking at the pictures :)

An alternative for every raindrop

Next to all different kinds of interesting people, colorful street art, giant buildings, charming neighborhoods, the crazy nightlife, beautiful and lively parks and too many good stores and boutiques, NYC also offers a bunch of amazing museums. So on one of the rainy days - of which we had quite a lot lately- I went to The Museum of Modern Art.
For now enjoy some pictures of my visit while I am off to Miami - South Beach-  to soak up some sun.

It´s about Peace, Love and Music

"All I'm gonna do is just go on and do what I feel.", this is a line by Jimi Hendrix, the legendary musician, who was one of the most important acts of the Woodstock Festival in 1969.
Last weekend my friend and I went to see what the town looks like, which gave the famous music festival it´s name.
And we found what Jimi Hendrix was talking about. A lot of old Hippies who live for the moment. The town of Woodstock totally blew our minds. We found a lot of little shops, a fleamarket and jewlery street sellers, a lot of musicians and people who look like there were stuck in the late 1960s.
I am not exaggerating when I am saying that this saturday was one of the best days since I moved to the USA and it found it´s perfect end at Cooper Lake where the peace was finally overwhelming.

Enjoy like I did! PEACE!

Oh look, the summer stopped by!

I need to capture the summer feeling, because the weather here in NYC is mainly rainy right now. So here are a few sunny shots I took so far.
