What makes this city to what it is?

There are so many different aspects which make this city to what it is. Streetart is one of them. It is to be found at every corner. Here are just some examples I captured in Little Italy and by the Highline Park.

Walk the High Line

Exept a few (or maybe a few more) rainy days we had an amazing sunny "August - Weather" the last couple of weeks in NYC. So there was no question, I had to spend time outside in the city.
And because New York City is a great "walking City" I didn´t feel too bad that my work out was left behind a little bit.
Anyway, one option is to walk down the High Line Park along the Lower Westside of Manhattan, which is a former NYC Railroad track. The park runs, among others, through the neighborhood Chelsea and ends in the Meatpacking District. While walking down the High Line you can gaze at all different architectures, art objects, graffitis, musicians ... and of course people ;) .
